Horses

You know your a horse person when...

You know your a horse person when....
...your horse gets new shoes more often than you do.
...you consider a golf course as a waste of good pasture land.
...you pull a $17,000 horse trailer with a $1,000 pick-up truck.
..you realize finding a horse shoe is truly lucky because you've saved twenty bucks.
...you say "whoa" to the dog.
...you are unreasonably pleased to get a horse item, ANY horse item, as a gift.
...you try to get by someone is a restricted space and instead of saying "excuse me" to him/her, you cluck at them instead.

A picture

My horse is beauty its self, A perfect picture
made just for me.  Lifting her head high and prancing around,
Her black hair is like A fine crystals that shines
in the sunlight, she begins to
gallop acting free and wild, she is a
picture, one that can never leave once seen.
Thats the beauty of the horse.

Mustangs

Mustangs

The bold fight, The brave fight till they die,
For they'd rather be dead than alive,
A pure heart cannot survive, under such a strain they will die,
The heart needs freedom,
To soar and fly,
It's like a wild mustang stallion,
Whose last challenge cry was answered,
With a rope around his throat,
And when his heart gave in,
The cowboy knew his sin,
He would never ride this steed,
His spirit was broken and so he died,
From lack of will to survive,
So let the wild hearts soar free and fly

Forever Free

Of all the things I've ever seen,
Of all the dreams I've ever dreamed,
The finest sight that's come to me,
White horses wild beside the sea
They ran across the trackless sand
In that remote, forgotten land,
And in their running they were free
Beside the boundless, unchained sea.

They raced the first light of the day
And surged across a shallow bay
To feed at ease in grassy plains
With wind alone to groom their manes.

No barn or stable was their home.
No one could govern where they roamed.
They galloped on the fenceless tracts
With no ones burden on their backs.

And each swift horse was nature's child
At home on land forever wild,
And each wild horse was meant to be
At home on land forever free
